Ivanka Trump (Photo via MGN / CBS This Morning) President Donald Trump’s campaign announced Monday that his daughter, Ivanka, will headline a “Make America Great Again” event in south Fort Myers. She will also be attending an invitation-only private fundraising event at an undisclosed location in Naples. The public event is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Top Rocker Field at Six Bends, 9510 Thunder Rd., just off Daniels Parkway. Ahead of her trip to the Sunshine State, Ivanka Trump said, “I’m excited to speak with the great people of Florida on Wednesday to make the case for four more years of President Trump. Watch below or click here. One voter says this is one of the most important elections of our lifetime. “People of all backgrounds, whether they have a little money or a lot of money are chipping in what they can…” said Cliff Kobrin of Collier County. Kobrin makes less now that he’s retired but he donated for the first time ever. “I donated in 2016 for the first time ever that I donated for presidency and I donated this year,” he said. His policies are “putting Floridians first — cutting taxes, slashing drug prices, increasing access to affordable childcare, advancing for school choice, and funding our military.” She’s coming to SWFL to discuss said policies and rally for her father. She added, “President Trump has fought every day for the hardworking people of Florida and will continue to do so in his second term!” Those waiving their Trump flags high in one area of Collier County are generating the big bucks. Homes in the 34110 area scoring the top 50 for the most money contributed to help the president win the 2016 election, according to analyst site “Stacker.” Ivanka is also heading to Naples this week for an invitation-only fundraiser with a hefty price tag to attend. Insiders say this event is about targeting people in specific zip codes. WINK News Reporter Gina Tomlinson got her hands on one of those invitations. It says, for a $100,000 donation you get lunch and two seats at the roundtable. “There’s a lot of money in Naples let’s face it,” said Ron Muir, Naples resident. Muir says he isn’t surprised that the Trump campaign is expected to bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars on Wednesday. “Quite a few people who I think would just write the check… get the photo opp,” said Muir. The invite says $15,000 just for the lunch. Katie Adams helps put on major fundraising events with Lark and Willow and believes the luncheon will most likely be over the top. “Unique, cutting edge, exceptional in quality, master chef, amazing wine selection, decor elements, over the top entertainment,” she said. Muir hopes that she’s right. “Biden has got more money than Trump right now,” he said. “They’re a little nervous and as they should be. It’s a pretty tight election… I think all the polls show him behind in the swing states but that was the same thing four years ago so it will be interesting.”
