Credit: Maxar Technologies A 17-year-old girl from Lehigh Acres was critically injured in a vehicle crash at Lee Boulevard and Lee Street Monday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Her sedan was traveling east on Lee Boulevard and failed to negotiate a curve to the left. She traveled off the roadway and collided with a tree in the grass median. The car rotated back onto the eastbound Lee Boulevard travel lanes then reentered the grass median, the right side of the car then colliding with a second tree. This collision ejected the driver from the car, as she was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver is currently in critical condition. The crash remains under investigation. Trust WINK News for updates.
