Fifth suspect arrested for biker road rage attack, one more wanted

UPDATE (Feb. 5, 2021): Charges were not filed against Kevin Cordero, 27, and Stephan Antonio Carrion-Velazquez, 31, due to a request from the arresting agency, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, after the victim recanted their identification.


A fifth person has been arrested for a biker road rage attack involving multiple suspects.

According to Crime Stoppers, Stephan Antonio Carrion-Velazquez, 31, turned himself in at the Lee County Jail Thursday night in connection with the January 9, road rage incident in North Fort Myers.

Carrion faces charges of felony battery, burglary, and property damage and is being held without bail.

The victim, Jeremy Harris, captured the fight on dashcam footage. In an interview with WINK News, Harris said he yelled at a troop of motorcyclists because they were blocking the intersections to allow others to forgo red lights.

Harris said he clipped one of them by mistake.

They began to attack Harris’ vehicle before Harris ended up outside his car and brought down to the ground. He was kicked and beat repeatedly, and one of the suspects even beat him with a wrench.

Also arrested so far: Jermin Deleon, 36, Roberto Deltoro, 35, Kevin Cordero, 27, and Ramon Santiago, 32. Santiago was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Ohio, where he fled to with his two children, according to authorities.
