An investigation Tuesday morning centered around a home in the Cornwallis neighborhood off of Del Prado Boulevard in Southeast Cape Coral.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigators told our crew on scene that they were serving a search warrant on a computer-related incident.

They added that the owner of the home does have weapons inside so precautions were being taken.

Our crews saw mostly undercover cars and unmarked units on scene.

Neighbor James Smith said he woke up around 7 a.m. to the scene and wanted to know what was going on. “I heard a lot of noise and looked out and saw all these vehicles are here. I brought my son to the bus stop right across the street and walked over, took some videos and asked the officers and they said nothing big. But it cant be nothing when you have several different police vehicles, most of them undercover, an evidence truck.”

FDLE would not say what crime they are investigating or if they took anything during the search. At this time no arrests have been made.
