
Terminals have reopened at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport following a threat investigation.
Authorities gave the all-clear at around 12:30 p.m.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said two terminals at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport were evacuated Saturday morning after they were notified of a bomb threat.
BSO said it happened at around 8:49 a.m.
As a precaution, deputies evacuated terminals 2 and 3 and also shut down entry into the airport.
BSO’s bomb squad is investigating the threat.
The airport’s upper-level roadway remains closed, but the lower-level roadway is open.
Airport officials said access to terminal 2 ticketing level & both levels of terminal 3 remain closed.
They said access to other terminals and Rental Car Center is not impacted.
