Calmer but breezy weather Monday behind Sunday’s cold front

Behind the cold front that brought Southwest Florida five confirmed tornadoes on Sunday, quieter weather resumes Monday. Look for a breezy day of weather as clouds decrease throughout the day with winds sustained between 15 and 20 mph out of the northwest.

With cooler air moving in, highs will only manage to warm into the upper 60s and low 70s.

With a mostly clear sky and calmer winds overnight, we’ll be waking up to a cold start to your Tuesday. In fact, this should be the first time Fort Myers has seen temperatures in the 40s so far this season!

Tuesday will feature plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 60s. We’ll warm up Wednesday and Thursday with highs back in the 70s.

Some isolated rain will return to the forecast Friday, but overall we will remain fairly quiet through this workweek.
