Fort Myers man arrested for voyeurism, child porn

A 38-year-old Fort Myers man has been arrested after authorities say they found child porn on his online account of his.

Bryan Michael Peterson faces charges of possessing obscene material and video voyeurism.

He was arrested on Feb. 25.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, they were contacted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning possession of child pornography discovered by Adobe.

The account was associated with Peterson.

The images found were taken by a video camera placed in the bathroom of one of the homes he lived in.

Peterson admitted to placing the recording device in the bathroom. He said it looked like a cellphone charging device.

The device captures images of a juvenile and, in a separate incident, an adult.

Peterson told authorities he did not distribute the images, but they were for his own personal use, according to the arrest report.
