A brown pelican that was admitted to the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife on Aug. 9 entangled in a monofilament fishing line with six fishing hooks was released back into the wild Monday.

According to CROW, after nine days in care and staff and students rehabbing the pelican, it was released back into the wild.
