(CREDIT: WINK News) The attorneys for the man accused of killing Adam Jobbers-Miller in 2018 have filed a motion to withdraw his representation less than a week before the trial was set to begin. Wisner Desmaret, accused of shooting Jobbers-Miller, was in court on Tuesday to review the jury pool, but he interrupted the proceeding, hoping to voice his concerns about his lawyer to the judge. At one point, Desmaret called his attorney a ‘snake’ and asked to represent himself. The judge did not let Desmaret fire his lawyers. On Wednesday, Desmaret’s lawyers filed to be removed from the case after Desmaret accused them of doing drugs on the job. A judge will decide on Thursday if he will accept the motion. As of now, Desmaret’s trial is set to begin on September 6.
