The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Immokalee man for several child pornography-related charges.

Detectives arrested Jeremiah Gutierrez, 24, following an investigation that began with tips provided by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. According to the arrest report, Gutierrez was arrested in a home that also had three children living in it.

The sheriff’s office says their investigation and search of Gutierrez’s home resulted in them finding 280 photos and videos of children engaged in sexual conduct on Gutierrez’s phone. Detectives also confiscated several other media devices in his home that will be examined for additional illegal images.

According to the arrest report, the ages of the children in the images found on Gutierrez’s Snapchat and Twitter accounts ranged from 5 to 16 years old.

Detectives say the investigation revealed a text conversation between Gutierrez and a teen boy whom detectives said Gutierrez enticed to send seven sexually explicit images and videos.

Gutierrez is facing 100 counts of possession of child pornography, six counts of transmitting child pornography, one count of promoting obscene material, and one count of computer use to seduce/solicit/lure a child.

The sheriff’s office says they are still investigating this case.
