Despite Hurricane Ian leaving behind damage and debris, the Pelican Boulevard area is prepared for hundreds or maybe thousands of kids to come by. Adults are also getting excited about the Monday night events in Cape Coral. Rob Smith has lived near Pelican Blvd. for 26 years and said Halloween came at just the right time this year. “It’s part of the normal cycle, like you know, getting back to normal thing, so I think it’s good for everybody the kid should enjoy it gets, you know, gets us away from this disaster that we just went through,” Smith said.
