Sunday, the Edison and Ford Winter Estates is paying homage to old-school baseball at Terry Park with a vintage baseball game.

Terry Park is where baseball legends like Babe Ruth, Roberto Clemente, and Ty Cobb spent part of their careers.

The first vintage baseball game ended late Sunday morning. But the fans are excited because they know there’s more to come.

And since it is a vintage baseball game, there’s no giant scoreboard to know what the score is.

WINK News spoke with Edison and Ford Winter Estates resident Alex Edwards about the game.

“It’s really by different rules. So, it is very different from you know, modern baseball you see today. Visitors can really kind of step into the past and see how baseball was played early in the 19th century,” Edwards said.

There are two more games played on Sunday the first started at noon and is open to everybody.
