Slightly increased chance of tropical development in the Caribbean

As of 10 p.m., Tuesday, The National Hurricane Center has issued a 60% chance of tropical development as a broad area of low pressure.

It may potentially try to form somewhere in the Southwestern Caribbean off of the Nicaragua coast within the next seven days.

A new area has formed near off the Southeast Coast of the United States with a 10% chance of developing.
