Warming trend bumps up Friday morning temperatures

The WINK News Weather Authority keeps Southwest Florida up to date with its hourly weather forecast, seven days a week.

WINK News Meteorologist Zach Maloch is tracking a warming trend with possible afternoon Sunday showers for this upcoming Super Bowl weekend.

Here’s what to expect for the next three days:

Friday: Temperatures are starting 5 to 15° warmer this morning and in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Clouds are beginning to move in along with sun throughout the afternoon.

Temperature highs to be in the upper 70s with a few communities in Collier County climbing into the lower 80s. 

Saturday: Mild and slightly humid start with lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Clouds and sun are expected for the afternoon with above-normal temperatures.

Temperature highs to be in the upper 70s and low 80s. 

Sunday:  Super Bowl Sunday starts mild with temperatures in the mid 60s.

We’ll see sun and clouds through the day with a breezy south wind at 10 to 20 mph. A stray shower is possible in the afternoon, but conditions will be dry just in time for kick-off.

Temperature highs to be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
