The Weather Authority is tracking a warm and humid Wednesday morning with isolated storms expected for the afternoon.

WINK Morning Meteorologist Zach Maloch states, “Throughout the day, expect a hot and breezy afternoon and a few storms in our northern counties. Scattered storms are more likely later this afternoon and into the evening.”

Maloch then mentions that the incoming northern storms will weaken as it approaches the Southwest Florida area.

Wednesday morning will start off very warm and humid, with temperatures in the lower 80s.

Isolated rain and storms will be around the area this afternoon, with some stronger storms possibly coming through the evening.

Parts of Southwest Florida are under a Level 1 and 2 risk for severe weather this Wednesday, so have that WINK Weather App nearby to be alerted of all alerts.

Highs will be in the lower 90s and will not feel as hot, thanks to cloud cover and a breezy onshore wind.

Thursday morning will begin mild and humid once again.

Isolated showers and a few storms will be around the area for the Thursday morning commute.

Isolated showers will continue through midday and taper off Thursday afternoon.

Highs in the lower to mid 90s.

We will start slightly cooler and drier Friday morning with temperatures in the lower to mid-70s.

Even though the morning starts cooler, plan on a hot afternoon with highs in the lower to mid 90s. “Feels like” temperatures will range from 99° to 104°.

We’ll stay mainly dry with a stray storm possible through the afternoon.
