One more step towards recovery. Work should start on the berm at Tigertail Beach on Marco Island after Halloween. Tropical Storm Debby damaged the berm earlier this summer. It had just been built in 2023. The money will come from tourist tax dollars, not Marco Island property taxes. The berm protects the lagoon.
