Missing and endangered boy found in Lehigh Acres

Authorities have found a missing and endangered boy in Lehigh Acres.

Police asked for the public’s help in locating 9-year-old Zachariah McKelvin.

On Wednesday night, the Lee County Sheriff’s office had boots on the ground trying to bring him home.

The search was concentrated around Olive Avenue, a residential area surrounded by wooded areas and canals.

McKelvin was last seen leaving his home on foot in the 3200 block of 35th Street West.

The 9-year-old is described as standing 4 feet tall and weighing 80 to 100 pounds.

He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white and orange shirt, blue cargo pants, and red sandals.
