Dr. Piper Center hosts annual Christmas Celebration

Published: Updated:

Dozens of children are enjoying new bicycles on Christmas day thanks to the generosity of the Dr. Piper Center.

A crowd of kids gathered at the center in Fort Myers on Wednesday morning for the 109th annual Christmas Day Celebration.

The place was packed with presents for children from babies to 16-year-olds.

The kids had fun picking out gifts and playing games and multiple children won bikes to ride around.

Even Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special appearance.

The center says this is a community effort to make sure every child in Fort Myers has a merry Christmas.
