SEMINOLE, Fla. (AP) – Two people were killed and one seriously injured during a wrong way crash in Seminole.

The Tampa Bay Times (http://bit.ly/1CWRG6q) reports the two people were the victims of yet another wrong-way driver in the Tampa Bay area – the 13th and 14th fatalities this year.

Authorities say Joao Martins and his daughter-in-law, Isabel Martins, died in the Christmas Eve crash. Martins’ wife, Arminda, was seriously injured.

Authorities said 51-year-old Paul E. Pulkownik of Largo was driving the vehicle that hit the Martins’ car.

Investigators are still trying to determine where Pulkownik was heading and when he started driving the wrong way on a wide, four-lane stretch with raised medians.

He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
