This weekend is much more than just a backyard barbecue and some time off work. It allows us to remember our nation’s heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. And this weekend, several neighbors across Southwest Florida are doing just that. Members of the American Legion Post number 192 and the Mount Olive AME Church teamed up to place American flags in remembrance of those lives lost. The flag placement started at 9 a.m. The volunteers also headed to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to do the same thing at the post. Watch above for the full story.
