MELBOURNE, Fla.- A Florida pilot is accused of flying drunk after he crashed his twin-engine plane into a shed at Melbourne International Airport.
Police say 57-year-old Michael Hall even had his son in the plane with him.
Hall crashed his Cessna aircraft while taxying to a restricted area for takeoff.
Air traffic control repeatedly asked the pilot to turn off the active runway and shut his engine off.
Witnesses say they had never seen anything like this before.
Hall has been released on bond.
Officials say the child suffered minor injuries, but declined medical attention and was picked up by a family member.
