LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Crime Stoppers is looking for two people, who reportedly beat a 72-year-old man and ransacked his home Friday night.

Detectives say the man met the two suspects at North Shore Park on U.S. 41, also known as Yankee Beach, around 10 p.m. Friday.

The suspects somehow convinced the man to take them back to his house in the Herons Glen subdivision. The 72-year-old said when the two came in, they pulled a gun out, tied him up and ransacked his home. He said the two also took his Hyundai Sonata.

The man was left there overnight, until neighbors heard him screaming early Saturday morning and called 911.

Deputies said the man was tied up so tight he had marks on his wrists and bruises on his face. He was found lying on the floor shaking.
