FORT MYERS, Fla. – For the 5th year, Fort Myers Floral Designs and the Harry Chapin Food Bank have teamed up to make sure that every family has a turkey this Thanksgiving.

The Harry Chapin Food Bank has a task of collecting 10,000 turkeys in just two weeks to make sure they can meet the holiday demand. To make it easy and rewarding, Fort Myers Floral Designs is handing out a free bouquet of fresh flowers for every person that donates a frozen turkey or chicken.

All you have to do, is simply bring a turkey or chicken of any size to Fort Myers Floral Designs and they’ll arrange a fresh bouquet for you, as a thank you. Fort Myers Floral Designs owner Greg DePasquale said his business is happy to help the food bank meet the need.

Donors do not have to call ahead and can stop by anytime between Monday November 9th and Friday, Nov. 13 from 8:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. monetary donations can also be made to help the food bank purchase birds, it costs $14 for the food bank to purchase one turkey.
