DINWIDDIE, Va.- Dana and Arkell Graves introduced their son Kaleb to the world.

Dana surprised her husband back in September with the news she was pregnant and recorded his reaction. The video went viral and was has been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube.

But in October, she went into early labor and delivered their son at just 24 weeks weighing only 13 ounces.

“Kaleb, he is doing fantastic,” said Dana.

Kaleb Graves turned 1-month-old on Friday, November 20.

“If someone would have told me six weeks ago when I was laying in the hospital bed and I was in the ICU department, that I would be here today, I wouldn’t believe it,” said Dana.

Doctors said Dana’s blood pressure was too high and could have possibly killed her. Despite being born premature, Kaleb’s parents say they feel blessed.

“God is good. He’s a miracle. Kaleb is a miracle,” said Arkell.

Kaleb’s nickname is ‘baby buns.’ The new parents spend most of their days with him.

Arkell spends the mornings with Kaleb and Dana is with him during the afternoons and evenings.

Dana said she reads to her son for hours, mostly the thousands of encouraging posts and prayers from their Facebook followers.

“It’s just amazing to know that we have so many people in our corner, so many people that have gone through the same thing and it’s just because of God’s grace,” said Dana.

“I’m very humbled to the fact that so many people are praying for us and the prayers are actually working. We can actually feel them. They’re amazing,” said Arkell.

“I just want to say continue to pray for us because we do have a long journey ahead of us, ” said Dana.
