POTOSI, Mo. – She kissed him before he left for Florida, Taylor Shomaker, girlfriend to accused murderer Jimmy Rodgers, tells detectives in discovery video released Wednesday. Shomaker also helped Rodgers get rid of evidence after her boyfriend was contacted by police in relation to the murder of Fort Myers doctor Teresa Sievers, according to statements made to Washington County, Missouri police. The accused murderer’s girlfriend spoke with detectives on the evening of Aug. 25, 2015. She wore a Missouri Tigers shirt, appeared tired, sometimes laughing with detectives, but says she became afraid and tells detectives about her boyfriend’s nickname: Jimmy the Hammer.
