Enjoy a breakfast, help Barbara’s Friends

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – For the 14th year Mel’s Diner has teamed up with Barbara’s Friends to help raise money for pediatric cancer and the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.

Thursday, February 18th is not only breakfast day at Mel’s but radiothon day, as they hope to raise $175,000 for Barbara’s Friends, keeping 100% of the money raised right here in Southwest Florida. To participate, callers can reach the radiothon at 1-866-609-KIDS (5437) or stop by any Mel’s Diner location and make a donation.

Making at-least a $5 donation will get you a free breakfast of two eggs, two pancakes and two strips of bacon. Donations of any amount are welcome or you can also pledge to “be a friend,” for a gift of $300 or installments of $25 a month for 12 months.
