FORT MYERS, Fla. — Temperatures will rise higher Wednesday than they did Tuesday across Southwest Florida as a more typical summer pattern returns.

The early morning will be mostly dry, save for a slight chance of rain along the coast before 10 a.m. A few spotty storms should develop, especially along the coast, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Those storms will become scattered by the afternoon, when it’ll be humid with a mix of sun and clouds.

Highs will be near 91, with heat indices surging to between 100 and 105. Overnight lows will dip to near 76.
