Cape parents under investigation for hosting sex parties

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Two parents are being investigated after allegedly hosting teenage sex party at their Pelican Boulevard home, Cape Coral police said.

The principal at Oasis Middle School told authorities about the parents, who allegedly required a cover charge for students to enter their home, according to a police report. Upon payment, students were allowed to drink alcohol, take prescription drugs and have sex with other partygoers, the reports said.

Neighbors complained these parties occurred almost every weekend for several months and would sometimes last until 5 a.m.

“That’s obviously way over the top of any responsible behavior or parenting or safety consideration,” said one neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous.

One of the parents being investigated said he’s never heard of the allegations and didn’t know there was an investigation.

The parents are not currently facing any charges. Lee County schools couldn’t be reached for comment.
