Boyden Elementary School in Walpole has canceled its Halloween festivities and will celebrate “Black and Orange” spirit day instead. WBZ reports the school’s annual Halloween costume parade was squashed, with officials saying it “is not inclusive of all the students.” An after-hours “Monster Mash Pasta Bash” will be held at the school on Friday, but the “Black and Orange” day, and not Halloween, will be celebrated on Oct. 31.
