Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Luis Antonio Nieves, 52, Friday for the murder of Thelma Aletha Storrs in 1998. According to LCSO, Storrs was reported missing March 2, 1998. Two weeks later, Storrs, then 35 years old, was found dead in a field off Lexington Avenue near Tice Street in Lee County. LCSO was given a tip recently that identified Nieves as a possible suspect in Storrs murder, which led to his arrest Friday. He is in custody at the Lee County Jail. Nieves faces a charge for Homicide (Murder Dangerous Depraved Without Premeditation). There is no set bond amount on his arrest page at this time.
