Most Wanted Wednesday: We feature three of SWFL’s most wanted suspects; Dec. 18

This weekly WINK News segment features fugitives from justice right here in Southwest Florida.

Here are three suspects wanted by Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Candelaria Castaneda

Candelaria Castaneda (DOB 1/17/63) – She has been on the run since July on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court for DUI causing serious bodily injury and two counts of DUI causing damage to a person or property.

In total, she has three previous DUI related arrests in Lee County. She is 5’0”, 155 pounds and was last known to be living in East Fort Myers. Upon her arrest, she will be held without bond.

Alisher Mardonov

Alisher Mardonov (DOB 6/14/71) Wanted in Collier County for scheme to defraud (original charge). He is accused of stealing $123,000 from about 500 eBay customers.

He funneled the money into four bank accounts in Naples from eBay users who bought auction items that were never sent. Almost all of that money, with the exception of $7,000, was withdrawn in cash before he took off.

He used an address on Courtyard Way for people to send money to, which is his last known address. He’s got a prior arrest in Lee County for theft. He’s 5’8”, 235 pounds.

Steve Karaszi

Steve Karaszi (DOB 4/18/68) – He is wanted for violating terms of his community control for two counts of felony battery. He’s been booked 16 times before in the Lee County Jail on charges that include grand theft, fraud, burglary, violation of a domestic violence injunction for protection, passing fake checks, and several counts of battery, to include battery on a law enforcement officer.

He is 5’11”, 235 pounds and was last known to be hotel hopping in the Fort Myers city limits. He has a tattoo of the name Robin on his left arm, and has used the alias of Steve Simpson in the past.
