Hertz Arena recreational rinks will be having a soft opening with limited programming beginning Wednesday, May 20, according to a release from the arena.
The arena will be open for the following activities with specific rules in place:
- Freestyle figure skating/lessons
- Private hockey lessons
- International Skating Academy
- Private ice rental for training only (no organized gameplay)

Some of the new rules that will be implemented include limiting the number of people in a group at one time, practicing social distancing and not allowing spectators.
