Hit-and-run crash with injuries causes roadblock in Lehigh AcresFlames burst from SUV near school in Fort Myers
Credit: Collier County Sheriff’s Office. Collier County Sheriff’s Office was negotiating with a male suspect Friday night after a vehicle pursuit ended at his home. According to CCSO, deputies were on scene at a suspect’s home, trying to speak to him after he led them on a chase. Deputies attempted to stop the man in a car at the intersection with Immokalee Road and US-41 at around 7:51 p.m. But the man evaded them and forced the deputies to pursue him. The chase ended at the suspect’s home on Shenandoah Circle, where deputies continue to actively speak with him but do not have him in custody. It’s unknown at this time if the suspect has been taken into custody.
