Port Charlotte man repeatedly exposed himself to neighbor’s children, deputies say

A 60-year-old Port Charlotte man was arrested Thursday for repeatedly masturbating in view of his neighbor’s children.

Arthur Joseph Gadomski is accused of harassing and cyberstalking the family across the canal by exposing himself on numerous occasions.

The family made multiple reports to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office about Gadomski’s behavior. In May, a road deputy told Gadomski about the family’s complaint. Gadomski then told the deputy he did not intend to expose himself.

But, the behavior continued. The family provided videos of the behavior to law enforcement.

According to the arrest report, Gadomski made a habit of sitting on his bed to touch himself while dark outside with his bedroom lights on. Sometimes he would stand in front of the window to show off his erect penis, the arrest report states.

On one occasion, Gadomski took the bedroom light and placed it near his crotch to illuminate the area more.

In November of last year, the family found a flashlight in their driveway. Surveillance showed it was Gadomski who placed it there.

The children’s mother said the incidents were escalating, believing Gadomski left the flashlight for one of her children to communicate with him across the canal when it’s dark outside.

Gadomski consented to transcribe an apology letter for exhibiting himself for others to see. He remains in Charlotte County Jail. Bail has been set at $2,000, records show.
