Arcadia man accused of soliciting underage girl for sex - WINK News

An Arcadia man was arrested Friday after police say he solicited an underage girl for sex.

William McGuigan, 43, followed the girl on foot for about a half-mile, according to police, and made sexual advances toward her, offering her money to engage in sex acts.

Police said McGuigan “made statements of admission” when he was located. He was arrested and faces charges of force/compel/coerce another to become a prostitute, contributing to the delinquency or dependency of a child, and aggravated stalking of a minor.

He’s being held without bond at the DeSoto County Jail.
