Expect a breezy Friday under partly cloudy skies

Published: Updated:

Highs will reach the upper 80s and low 90s under partly cloudy skies. A stray shower can’t be ruled out, especially for our southern zones.

High pressure is steering strong winds into Southwest Florida from the east.

Gusty winds up to 30 mph will make for a choppy boating forecast. A small craft advisory remains in effect for the remainder of Friday.

Rain chances will slightly increase into the weekend, although many of us will remain dry.

These low-end rain chances will persist into next week as our humidity continues to rise.
