Favio Vallejo, 24. (Collier County Sheriff’s Office) A 24-year-old man was arrested early Monday after Naples police said he was causing a disturbance in the NCH emergency department. Favio Vallejo kept yelling at NCH staff and said he wasn’t happy with the care he was receiving, according to the Naples Police Department. Police told him Vallejo could either let himself be treated by staff or leave, but instead, he walked around the ER and entered the rooms of other patients. He was ordered back to his room, where he began calling 911 while in the presence of officers. Naples police said they told him he was misusing 911 and could be arrested. Vallejo left the hospital and walked into the ambulance bay, where he again started calling 911, interrupting the call of an operator who was speaking to a suicide hotline person, Naples police said. The dispatcher asked Vallejo to stop calling but he called again in front of police officers. He was then arrested for misusing the 911 system.
