Both victims from the deadly crash Kaylee and Cail Griffin. (CREDIT: MAGAN CIERRA THOMAS) A mother and son were killed Friday in a crash in DeSoto County and since then the family and community are mourning the losses of Kaylee and Cail Hampton. The mother, Kaylee, 33, and Cail, 13, her son, were both killed in the crash and her husband and other son are in the hospital. A family friend told WINK News the youngest boy is stable and came out of surgery. She said that doctors had to place a plate on the bottom and top of his femur.
