The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three people in connection to an armed robbery in Golden Gate on Tuesday.

Deputies say they responded to a home on 46th Street SW around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday after a man said he was robbed at gunpoint.

The victim told deputies that a silver car pulled up next to him as he was taking out the trash. He said the driver got out of the car, pointed a gun, and demanded everything in his pockets.

Deputies say the victim gave the suspects five $20 bills and said they drove away north on 46th Street SW.

The sheriff’s office was able to find a vehicle that matches the description given by the victim and stopped it. They say there were four people inside the car.

Deputies say the driver, Tyler Bruscini, 18, was positively identified as being the driver of the car during the robbery. Bruscini and the three other people in the car were taken into custody.

According to deputies, Bruscini denied pulling a gun on the victim during the robbery and said no one in the car pulled a gun. Bruscini told deputies that he drove around and picked up two of the three people who were in the car when they were stopped after the robbery.

Deputies also questioned a suspect from the car, who was identified only as Emilio, who said he was picked up by Bruscini and two others and was not in the car for the robbery.

A person in the car, identified as Anderson, told deputies his friend Jesus had set up a meeting with the victim on social media to sell the victim vape pens but intended to rob the victim.

Bruscini, Anderson and Jesus are facing charges of armed robbery.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office did not release mug shots for Anderson and Jesus.
