A young man found in Texas has Collier deputies working to determine if he could be a Southwest Florida child missing since 2009.
Six-year-old Adji Deisr vanished from Immokalee 14 years ago.
Now deputies are working with Midland Police Department in Texas to figure this out.
Midland police collected fingerprints and DNA evidence.
During the process, the child was asked to write his name, and he wrote Cordarius repeatedly.
A woman answered the door at Adji’s house and spoke to a deputy.

WINK News reached out to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, but they didn’t say much.
The boy, who is nonverbal, was found on Jan. 29.
He was found by himself. Police believe he is between 13 and 17 years old.
WINK News spoke with Adji’s mother Marie, who said she spoke to a Collier County detective.
Marie told WINK News she is too emotional to speak.
