High temperatures will max out in the 80s and low 90s under partly cloudy skies. Winds will range from 10 to 15 mph from the southwest this afternoon. Boaters can expect 1- to 2-foot wave heights in the Gulf with a light chop in our bays.

A few showers will pop up this afternoon, but, thanks to that onshore wind, they will mainly be east of I-75 and linger through the evening. That rain will be hit-or-miss so it shouldn’t last long if if impacts your plans.

Beyond Saturday’s isolated rain, more rain is on the way with scattered rain and storms looking likely Monday through Thursday next week. We could pick up 1-2″ of much needed rain through the next 7 days.
