Sparklers burn just as hot as a blowtorch

Waving around sparklers is a tradition for most people celebrating the Fourth of July. They’re fun but burn hot and fast.

Sparklers burn at temperature of over 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, about 600 people went to the emergency room for injuries from sparklers last year.
