The Weather Authority Meteorologist Lauren Kreidler shares what you can expect this Sunday and for the workweek: The clouds are continuing to stick around Southwest Florida, with the chance for isolated to scattered showers throughout the day. The cold front that swept over Saturday stalled to the south of us, which is the reason behind our elevated rain chances. Sunday started with temperatures in the 50s across the board. For Sunday afternoon, we will see temperatures in the mid-60s. Next week: Rain chances remain elevated for the first half of the workweek as an unsettled weather pattern continues. Monday and Tuesday’s highs will be above average, reaching the upper 70s thanks to a warm front. Scattered storms on Tuesday will come ahead of another cold front, bringing drier, cooler air back into play by Wednesday.
