The Weather Authority Meteorologist Lauren Kreidler shares what you can expect this Sunday and for the workweek:

  • The clouds are continuing to stick around Southwest Florida, with the chance for isolated to scattered showers throughout the day.
  • The cold front that swept over Saturday stalled to the south of us, which is the reason behind our elevated rain chances.
  • Sunday started with temperatures in the 50s across the board.
  • For Sunday afternoon, we will see temperatures in the mid-60s.

Next week:

  • Rain chances remain elevated for the first half of the workweek as an unsettled weather pattern continues.
  • Monday and Tuesday’s highs will be above average, reaching the upper 70s thanks to a warm front.
  • Scattered storms on Tuesday will come ahead of another cold front, bringing drier, cooler air back into play by Wednesday.
