The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “For the afternoon, temperatures are expected to climb high with ‘feels like’ temps ranging from 101 – 106°. Some relief will happen later on in the day, as scattered rain storms are expected in some isolated areas.” Wednesday A heat Advisory is in effect for parts of Southwest Florida today due to the “feels like” temperatures. Highs will be quite hot and in the mid 90s. Scattered rain and storms will develop and move in for your Wednesday afternoon and evening plans. Thursday Happy Independence Day! The Weather Authority is forecasting scattered rain and storms for your 4th of July plans. While the morning will begin dry, those scattered storms will be likely in the afternoon and early evening. Thankfully, the sky is looking drier by the time fireworks hit the sky Thursday night. Highs in the mid-90s with “feels like” temperatures ranging from 99 – 103°. Friday Dry start for Friday plans with scattered rain and storms developing in the afternoon. Friday will be hot once again with highs in the mid 90s. Feels like temperatures will range from 100 – 105° before storms develop.
