Hot Monday with scattered storms this afternoon and evening

The Weather Authority is tracking a hot start to the workweek, with afternoon and evening storms expected this Monday.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “As we move through Monday, the clouds will erode this morning as we head into the early afternoon. In the late afternoon and evening, expect some isolated storms in the Southwest Florida area.”

Monday

Hot conditions are expected for your Monday afternoon plans with highs in the mid 90s.

Parts of Southwest Florida are under a Heat Advisory as some communities will have “feels like” temperatures between 105 – 110°.

Scattered rain and storms will develop this afternoon and continue to move towards the coast through the evening.

Tuesday

Warm, humid and dry conditions will be with us for Tuesday morning.

Hot temperatures return for the afternoon with highs Tuesday in the mid 90s.

“Feels like” temperatures will once again be between 105 – 110° for some communities.

While the morning begins dry, scattered rain and storms will develop in the afternoon and continue through the early evening.

Wednesday

Starting warm, humid and dry for your Wednesday morning plans.

Scattered rain and storms will develop in the afternoon, and we’ll see those around Southwest Florida through the evening. Highs will be hot again and in the mid 90s.

“Feels like” temperatures will range from 103 – 108°.
