The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is responding to a scene located on Pine Island Road in North Fort Myers.

Deputies arrived on the scene at around 6 a.m. on Monday in front of a shopping center laundromat on Pine Island Road.

Two occupied parking spaces in front of the laundromat have been wrapped with police tape while deputies work the scene.

The two vehicles taped off appear not to have any visible damage.

It remains unclear if the vehicles are linked to the scene.

One LCSO deputy vehicle and an ambulance are on the scene.

The ambulance has since left the scene; however, it is unknown if the vehicle was used to transport anyone.

WINK News reporter Camila Pereira is on the scene to gather more information.
