Below-normal highs with temperatures in the 70s

The Weather Authority is tracking lower-than-average temperatures due to a cold front moving through Southwest Florida this weekend.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “We’re watching our next cold front over the southeast, which will deliver colder air in the Southwest Florida area. The cooler temperatures will persist throughout this weekend.”

Friday

Cool temperatures continue with below-normal highs this afternoon.

Sun and clouds are expected with temperatures topping out in the lower 70s.

A cold front moves through Southwest Florida this Friday evening, bringing colder temperatures into the area for the weekend. 

Saturday

Colder temperatures move in with lows in the 40s for many of us Saturday morning.

We’ll see a mostly clear morning with plenty of sunshine throughout the afternoon.

Highs will be cooler than normal and in the upper 60s to near 70. 

Sunday

Sunday will feature a big swing in temperatures.

With lows starting in the 40s and highs in the mid-70s, expect a lovely afternoon for your Sunday plans.

We’ll see some more clouds increase across the area throughout Sunday afternoon.
