The Weather Authority says after a rainy Saturday evening, we are kicking off Sunday drier with partly cloudy skies overhead.
Brush fire near MM 110 on I-75 contained

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, a brush fire between mile markers 111 and 109 in Collier County has been fully contained.
As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, the fire is fully contained, and 6 acres were burned.
North Collier Regional Park at 15000 Livingston Road is closed due to the brush fire.
Evacuations were underway for some residents of the Wilshire Lakes community.
The brush fire was located south of Immokalee Road. Florida Forest Service crews were on the scene trying to contain the flames.
