COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- “We’ve been here since Tuesday about 3 o’clock, we’ve been here the whole night.” Carmen Crespo and her husband were the first two people to line up outside of a Collier Best Buy. “It’s not Black Friday anymore it’s Black Thursday, we switch our Thanksgiving,” said Crespo. She’s been doing this for so long, she has become friends with her neighbors in line. Weeks earlier, a line was spotted outside of the Page Field Best Buy location for weeks. The best deals at Best Buy won’t be available to shoppers until Thursday at 5 p.m. “I think you save between $2, 3, 400 and I think it’s worth it,” said Crespo. Ryan Smith, the General Manager for the Naples location, gave WINK News a look inside the store as employees get ready for the two days of sales where 140 staff members will work, each day. “I think customers expect there’s gonna be a little bit of a wait,” said Smith. Smith said they’ll be ready to go, especially when it comes to having items in stock. “With the amount of product we’ve had this year, seems to be more than we’ve ever had which is very exciting that we get to take care of so many,” said Smith. That’s something shoppers say they’ll be thankful for. “We say thank you everyday, you don’t have to celebrate just one day.”
