CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.- Authorities say a body has been found in a canal near the Elk camp.
That’s just off US 41 behind the Bayfront Health Port Charlotte medical center.
Officials confirm it was an elderly person and that the death does not seem to be suspicious.
